A couple of weeks ago, my friend Kimz asked me for help finding an inexpensive alternative to her beloved LUSH scrub soap. As an expert Googler and dedicated Etsy customer, I immediately set to work for her on both and came up with a soap from Nature’s Muse that intrigued me so much I had to buy a bar for myself.
It arrived packaged in a bag cute enough to be given as a gift as-is, and of course I loved the smell. I have to admit that I was pretty skeptical, though. It looked like a regular bar of soap with a few seeds mixed in, and I didn’t see how it was possibly going to replace my regular body scrub. When I took it to the shower, though, something happened. Within seconds, the slick outside layer of soap washed away and revealed that the rest of the soap is CRAZY SCRUBBY. It was both relaxing and invigorating, like getting a massage from a sheet of sandpaper. My skin has never felt softer, more moisturized than it does after using this. Plus, it’s a bigger-than-normal bar, and it’s appropriate for dudes who don’t like girly soaps.
I also went ahead and ordered myself a lip balm, because I’ve always loved beeswax balms, and I love the idea of the biodegradable tube. It glides on like butter, stays weightless, and keeps my lips moisturized for hours (really). Now I’m dying to try all of the flavors, from mojito to peppermint to chai latte.
And here’s the giveaway part:
Kathy from Nature’s Muse has been kind enough to offer the same soap and lip gloss combo I bought to one of my stinking, chapped readers! I’m so excited about this and so happy one of you gets to try these amazing (seriously, amazing) products; I’m pretty sure I’m a scrub-soap-lover for life.
How to Enter:
1) Leave me a comment. Tell me your favourite product from the Nature’s Muse store (chai latte soap, anyone?) or compliment my glowing skin or whatever you want. Make sure you fill out the field in the comment form with your e-mail address so I can write to you when you win.
2) Like my Unapologetically Mundane Facebook page for an extra entry. Just comment separately and let me know you’ve Liked it. If you’ve Liked it previously like a good blogfriend, you can still get the extra entry if you leave a comment telling me so.
3) Tweet about my giveaway on Twitter for yet another extra entry. Just include my Twitter handle, @ettible, and say whatever else you like. Leave a separate comment to let me know you’re a follower.
Have I mentioned that the comments all need to be separate? It’s so you’ll have a better chance to win. More entries = more chances.
I’ll let random.org choose a number for me on Monday. Good luck!
UPDATE: random.org chose #26, which turned out to be my longtime blogfriend caropal! Congratulations to her, and thanks to all of you for entering.

What a great find! I’d love to try the lavender soap — I shower before bed so that would be perfect. Also intrigued by the mango lip balm!
I already like you on Facebook because I’m awesome like that.

Wait…
what is this ‘soap’ you speak of?!
Anything chai latte scented needs to be in my house. Give it to me!
Also I already love you on FB, duh!
HOOPS. JUMPING THROUGH HOOPS.
Comment.
I’ll tweet you. But that’s only because saying I tweeted you sounds dirty.
I also clicked a link. Enjoy that 10 cents.
I’m a sucker for rosemary and mint.
I’m also a sucker for this blog.
OOPS, I TWEETED.
Tweeted! Related: Why am I not more Twitter-famous?
Can I enter even though I already use her soap (AND YES OHMYGOD IT’S AMAZING)?
I like you so much on Facebook. Give me soap.
Comment: My favorite products are all of the ones with Scheherazade in the name because I like smart women empowering themselves/not getting beheaded. Also I’m still jealous of that time that old lady in Bloomingdales interrupted our frozen yogurt date to tell you how lovely your skin was and completely ignore me.
OK, Katie Ett, this is my first entry. Give me stuff!
This is my second entry, because I liked you on FB! And WordPress is spamblocking me. I am not spam! Give me things!
This is my third entry, because I finally got a Twitter account because I’m now committed to making my blog a place where I do things, and that’s one of the ways to make it happen! Oh, and I tweeted about this giveaway. WHATEVER. Give me stuff!
At first glance, I thought that was cheese. I’m now less interested knowing it is actually soap, but still PICK ME.
I’m not stinky but I’m def a little chapped. First entry!
Tweeted as well! Woo 2 entries.
Ooooh, oatmeal soap.
Also, I already love you enough to like your FB page.
Oh, I love a good giveaway!!! And all beauty products. Win-win.
And I’m also a FB fan. :) (notice I said fan)
YOU HAD ME AT CHAI LATTE SOAP! And OMG CHAI LATTE LIP BALM?! I want it all.
I think it was you who got me interested in chap stick when we were kids. And then you told me it was addictive. After you got me addicted.
I already like you on facebook. I’m not sure what to think about a bar of soap, though. I’m so used to my liquid squirty soap, can I adjust?
Because, you know, of course I’m going to win. I’m your BLOOD RELATIVE, after all! And i’m one of your twitlets.
If I’m not too late I’d live to enter to win! Been soooo sick I sure could use some soap and balm to scrub and soothe away the germs. :)
PS: you do know of course that I already stalk I mean like you on both twitter and Facebook, right? Course!
My commentry: Your skin is petal-luminous, and smells of ripe cheeses drizzled with honey.

I am also already a fan on Facebook! Already! A fan!!
I didn’t know you we’re twittering! I’ll tweet you, like, today! It will include a bunch of punctuation expressing my excitement!
I’m already awesome, but I suppose smoother skin can’t hurt.
Oh .. umm .. can’t think of anything clever to say about already liking your Facebook page. JUST GIVE ME THE SOAP OR I’LL TAKE YOURS!
The description of that soap says it contains cornmeal, so I pretty much want to win just so I can eat it.
Also, the cold weather today reminded me that I need to begin my yearly crusade to keep my skin from drying out.
Consider me entered!
Aaaaaaand FACEBOOK!
