Awww cuuuute.
Also: Can we talk to the woman with the perfect curls about what product she uses? Because wow.
When her blog got a sponsorship from Ouidad, she said that she uses and loves their products, for whatever that’s worth. I looked at their site and went through their questionnaire to find the shampoo that’s right for me, but I didn’t get the feeling they cater to people with my (our?) kind of hair, which is fine and soft.
Grr. I once found a product that was made by some woman – and I think her name was in the product, like Julie’s Hair Stuff – and there was a questionnaire on their site, and they appeared to actually have products for people with fine yet curly hair. And for some stupid reason I did not bookmark it! And now I can’t remember the name of the product line, the woman … nothing. Back to using the craptastic Garnier spray.
Blerf.
Not Carol’s Daughter, right? That’s the only thing I can think of, though I’m not sure that’s for white girls. Basically all hair product (even conditioner) weighs my hair down, so I just shampoo and hope for non-humid days.
My curls are considerably less than perfect, but they are much, much better since my hairstylist gave me a sample of this the last time I got mah hur did:

Oh, I haven’t tried that one, but I know pureology is like goddess juice for hair! I can’t afford that stuff anymore though. Sniffle.
What are these ‘words’ you speak of, U.M.?
I pretty much rely on a series of grunts and wild hand gestures to ‘communicate’ you know.
:)
And also quotes from indie movies.
Yay! Thanks for participating! I too want to know that woman’s secret. Apparently if you get your hair cut at a Ouidad salon they have a whole method for cutting your hair to shape your curls. I’m kind of curious, but the nearest one is 3 hours away. And I’m sure it’s way more than I want to pay.
Love your blog and love Lisa’s. Win/win!
