Two shots from the sky over Ohio during my last visit home:
The moonrise was over the trees in my great-aunt’s front yard, and the rainbow was in the backyard of my best friend, Tracey‘s parents’ house on the crazy-windiest day ever.
You don’t see these things in Brooklyn.

Absolutely gorgeous. The color of that night sky is breathtaking!
Nice! The first one would make a terrific print.
My moon shots never come out… the moon always looks so big in person, but when I see the picture, it’s so itty bitty…
Can one make the moon bigger?
You’re right. Things like that are gorgeous. Sometimes we forget how pretty nature can truly be. I love living near a city, but take me back home in the middle of nowhere any time when the sun rises.
Is that just a single rainbow? Not impressed.
These photographs are so fantastic!
I agree that especially the first one would make such a great print.
Okay, I came over here expecting to be my usual schnarky self… but these are just to frigging gorgeous…
give me a minute…
where’s the leprechaun?
(there it is)
Seriously, ridiculously awesome, U.M…
you are just showing off now, aren’t you?!
:)
