While I was at home in Ohio, my best friend, Tracey, wanted me to take pictures of her and her husband, Dan, with their Christmas tree. Well, he was wearing his Duder shirt,
and they found it pretty awkward that I was like, “Just be natural! Don’t pose!”,
and the cats wouldn’t cooperate,
and the only light we had was from their ceiling fixture,
and they kind of just wanted to fight
and torture one another
and eat each other’s heads,
but other than that, I think it went pretty well!
Aren’t they adorable?
It was so fun to do this spontaneously, but next time, I want to have proper lighting and to make them dress up in matching crushed velvet Christmas outfits and to have tranquilizers ready for the cats.

Cute photos! Love the cat :)
No, no, no. It should be ugly Christmas sweaters. Those are fantastic.
What’s up with the little spots on all the photos?
Oh, yeah, I was going to comment on that. I think I must have had spots on my lens filter that were reflecting light or something. Either that, or Tracey and Dan have some creepy Tinkerbell stuff going on in their house.
We have a disco ball ornament that creates little spots like that when the sun hits it just right, but since there was no sun, I’m not sure what was going on. If it only happened in the shots where you used your flash, maybe your flash activated the ornament?
Or, you know. Maybe it’s a magical reaction to our precise mixture of love and awkwardness?
When you finally make your way South I’m going to force you to take disgustingly cute photos of me and Mark together. You’ve been warned.
even the ones you say didn’t turn out as well turned out pretty cute. i love how they show off your personalities! so fun!
Cat tranquilizers = one sick party!
