Happy Bigtime Birthday, Tracey!

Filed under all of my friends are prettier than i am, holidays don't suck for me, just pictures, no i really do love ohio, par-tay

I know presents are the reason for the season and all, but I was really back home in Ohio for the past two and a half weeks to celebrate my best friend, Tracey‘s, 30th birthday. While I celebrated my last birthday quietly and with fingers crossed that no one would remember it was my 30th, Tracey celebrated hers with karaoke, gigantic 3-0 candles, and Justin Bieber cupcakes all around:

Guess who ate these in abundance and wore the Bieber rings without irony. This guy!

This is a hilarious picture until you remember that the noisemakers Tracey bought actually turned out not to make noise.

Tracey totally made this for her husband’s last birthday and not for herself. Just so you know.

Happy 30th birthday, my best best friend!

You are my life partner, my lab partner, my partner in crime, the wind beneath my wings, my baby bumblebee, the demon seed and the factor!

And I love you.

So glad you’re back to your blog. I’ve missed you.

Looks like a fantastic party with delicious cupcakes. What are those brown things covered in sprinkles?

Also, the shot of the noisemaker coming toward the camera is fantastic.

  2. YOU’RE BACK! I actually squealed when I saw your post in my reader :]
    Happy New Year to you!

This looks like an amazing party, I adore the garland and the noisemakers! Now, could you please send me one of these cupcakes?

I’VE MET YOU! I’VE MET YOU ALLLLLLL!

That said, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Tracey! 30 isn’t a big deal, except it’s an awesome deal when you mix in Justin Beiber!

  5. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, TRACEY!!

I think Martha’s met her match in you, girl. Seriously crafty.

    :)

PS: I didn’t forget about you Katie. Those photos are worthy of a best friend.

Does everyone in Ohio have perfect teeth? This is what I’m gathering from you and your adorable friends and their adorable spouses etc.
Also I hope those sprinkle-coated things are oreo truffles.
    Happy birthday Tracey!

  7. Tracey says:

    Awwww, I love YOU!

And I love how the cheaply-printed pictures on the BieberRings ended up looking so artsy in photos. I hope you and Kamran are wearing your rings to work every day this week.

Thanks for staying in Ohio for me! And for taking pictures! And for leaving an entire, unopened package of cookie dough in the fridge for me!

Is it sad that with the abundance of cupcakes and people having fun in these pictures I got excited about the cat the most? Graham is cute!

I think if I had ended up not getting married, I’d totally have become a crazy cat-lady. Oh well.

    Belated Happy Birthday Tracey!

I’m sure it was very exciting for all you young kids.
    I’m almost 32, you know.
I go to bed at like 7:30.
(Great photos, btw… I’m particularly fond of the noise-maker shots!)
