I’m fascinated by this cupcake thingie. Do people who bake actually use them? Are they multipurpose? How do you core a cupcake without one?

I was going to call it a “unitasker” but didn’t want to discourage anyone what with my filled-cupcake-love and all. The three reviews on Amazon are all 5-star, so the thing must be good at its job. Also, it’s cheap. Also, maybe it makes you start coring all of your baked goods and filling them with frosting just to justify buying it, which can’t be bad.

I assume other people are knifing out their cupcake middles? Must be hard work.

I’m so glad Tracey was on the phone with me when I saw this comment, or I would’ve dialed her number over and over for hours just waiting to tell her what a good idea it is.

I want to sit all up in that suit case chair!

    • katie ett says:

It does look so plush, right? I’ll bet you could make one for yourself, too! (And for way less than $1000!)

That tape dispenser needs to live on my desk.

  6. Dishy says:

And here I thought people just stuck the pastry bag into the side of the cupcake and squeezed! I clearly am not paying enough attention to tools of the trade.

Ps: you need to change the title of the post to stuff I would like to have!

  8. What’s this tape you speak of?!
I don’t ask because I’m too young to remember cassettes, but rather far to old. Pretty sure I was old when 8 tracks were the new-fangled thang.
    :)

  9. The suitcase chair is my favorite.

I know somebody’s going to want to hit me for saying this, but would it not make the most awesome dog bed ever?!
