A pretty fountain in the gardens outside of Kamran’s apartment building that speaks of a grander time when you noticed the 1920s handmade Italian tiles on the sides of the buildings more than the streaks of not-quite-cleaned-up-well-enough dog poo on the sidewalks. Not that I blame them. Touching feces through a plastic bag is still touching feces.
And speaking of poo, I finally posted another poll on IS IT PEE-PEE? today. This one was motivated by Dishy of The Daily Dish and The Daily Dish, and her hilarious bloggin’ daughter, Madison.

How is it POSSIBLE I keep missing these blogs?
My powers of observation are amazing, aren’t they?
I’m so embarrassed… guess I better go hide behind that fountain.
Beautiful photo, U.M.!
:)
That lion has such kind eyes. But I think his nose is wrinkled from smelling all that dog poo.
You know I would love to live in NYC – in theory, at least – but I am really glad that my life for now does not include touching Chihuahua’s poop.
Such a logo-worthy photo, Katie!! And thanks for the shout-out! Can’t wait to tell Mads when she gets home. From middle school. Yes, I am ooooolllldd. Hand me my cane, will ya?
PS: Took Roxy for her 3 mile walk this morning in the pouring rain. Had to carry her double-doodie poop bag x 2 for roughly 2.75 miles of said walk. Good times.
