Love the photo second from the top.
Also, they live on a golf course in California? Nice!
Thanks! I was like, “Oops, overexposed. Oh, well.” And then I was like, “No, artistically overexposed.” I’m good at making excuses for myself.
It was fun taking that second picture of the golf course, because there was a woman about to tee off at that hole, and she saw me taking pictures through the bushes behind her like some paparazzo and acted weirded out. I was like, “Nobody cares about you, lady! Just taking pictures of some trees!” So, yeah, golf course = fun.
I’m don’t know much about botanical thingies, but I know I ‘likes’ these, U.M.! Great warm tones! I like them all very much, but I’m particularly drawn to the last image. I like your watermark, too. It’s very elegant (and the tiny aperture is schweeet).
:)
I told Kamran the other night but forgot to tell you that I think it’s so cool that you noticed these were warm. I’m always adding blues to my food pictures to make the whites cooler, so I decided to warm these up just to see what it was like and ended up liking it. You must have quite the eye! (Or else I have a terrible eye for never noticing that sort of thing in other people’s pictures.)
I love that you like the last image, because it was a reeeeeeeeally crappy, colorless one that I just kept Photoshopping until I liked it. I still only know 1/100th of what you do when it comes to PS.
For a crappy image you did an amazing job! I only know enough about PS to be mildly dangerous… but I can tell you definitely know what you’re doing, U.M.! :)
Just make sure there’s nothing interesting in the lower corner.
I LOVE the second shot, especially. The one where you’re looking up at the palm tree. Not sure where or how you were standing to get it, but I’m picturing you burrowed down under those grasses like a little wild animal.
Isn’t it so weird to be somewhere where there are palm trees? It almost seems like they have to be fake until you remind yourself that they’re a real thing in the world.
I totally just pinned your pic of the red flower(?) on pinterest. Let’s take the watermark for a spin, shall we? That ok?
LOVE the colors in all of these. Gorgeously captured, Lady.
All these photos are great, but that second shot is GORGEOUS. Excellent job!
Love the last one!
Yes, I too love the 2nd (artistically overexposed) shot. Gorgeous Ett! And may I say, I too am not hating you new logo. In fact, the opposite. :)
PS: hope you’re dry & well in NYC. Rain has stopped here in Portland but the wind is WILD.
