My friend Julie posted that quote a couple of weeks ago on her blog, and of course it warmed my little heart. But I controlled myself and only used one flourish when illustrating it instead of the glitter and kitten cutouts I really wanted.

I thought I heard distant mewing.
And I knew it wasn’t my cat as she generally growls, hisses and speaks in Latin while her head slowly rotates.
:)
There’s nothing to worry about unless she starts projectile-vomiting green.
Maybe just one kitten next time.
Okay, of course I couldn’t resist making one with a kitten:
But then I found an image of a kitten AND a bunny:
And I didn’t even care that they covered up half of the quote.
Oh My Gawd! Please tell me you are making this into a poster or cards or something…it’s fantastic!
Uh-oh, you’ve inflamed my entrepreneurial spirit. I might have to open an Etsy shop tonight! Thanks!
This is damn awesome. Love the swirl. Love the kittens. Love it. Except that whole Ohio bit. :)
So adorable!! I love that font. And the bunny and kitten, of course. But where’s the glitter?
I could live in Ohio. Mostly because I’m obsessed with Cedar Point.
Obviously I needed to not do work this morning and made this for you:
Pretty!
Cedar Point IS pretty great. Can you believe I didn’t go there for the first time until college? We were a Kings Island family when I was growing up, mostly because they had a Smurfs ride.
GLITTER!!!
P.S. You are going to love my next blog post.
Maybe it’s the southern belle in me, but I say the more glitter and kittens, the better.
Before I say the following, I need to inform your readers that my IQ is very high and that they should refer to me as Dr. Clubbingdresswearer. When I first read the quote, I thought for some reason that the author was from Charlotte’s Web. It wasn’t until several hours later when I saw it again that I realized that it was in fact the father of modern aviation. That explained the dearth of cute little piggies.
Kittens ARE an American tradition. Now that I know you secretly want to put glitter and kittens on everything, I can start buying you all sorts of glitter and kitten stickers for your scrapbooks.
I LOVE this quote, and it amazes me that I’ve never heard it. I just won’t think about how I was born in Ohio and have great parents, and yet I haven’t invented any working airplanes.
LOL!! I LOVE the kitten, bunny & glitter version the best! But, of course!
