The snow bunnies go out to play!
Kamran finds that the snow is perfect for packing, much to Katie’s chagrin.
The view down 42nd Street, the only street that seemed to get any plowing.
The treacherous walk down the 42nd Street bridge stairs.
The line between the shoveled part and the unshoveled part of the sidewalk looks like a cutaway in a science lab.
With the snow piled so high, the benches in the Tudor City park look like comfy couches.
And with a single snowball thrown, one picture of yellow snow taken, and matching Sauconys soaked, the snow bunnies burrowed back into Kamran’s apartment for the day.

That fist picture is A. Dorable.
Aww, thanks. Little do you know that we’re totally unshowered there and totally STANKY.
KATIETT! You wear Sauconys in the snow? Ohio has snow, right? Dont you have the proper footwear?
Sheesh.
Oh yeah, that pic of you two is adorbs. Yes, I said adorbs.
But in Ohio, you step out the front door and straight into your car! I wore flip-flops all through most of my Ohio winters.
I do have some bright pink boots with dark pink letters sprinkled all over them like a kindergartener, but there’s the whole hassle of having to bring other shoes along with me to change into if I wear those, so I usually just don’t bother with them.
The Adorbs is a pretty great name for a band, except that it reminds me of the word “absorbancy”, which reminds me of tampons. Too bad. But thanks!
Dan yelled at me the other day for shoveling snow in my sneakers, and I had to admit that I haven’t worn a pair of snow boots since I was about five. Even during my years of campus-walking, it somehow never seemed necessary.
I’m pretty impressed with your knit cap, though. Even though I know you’d never wear it if you had to take it off again while still in public.
LOVE LOVE LOVE The Pix!!!!!!! Hope you are home having fun. I will not mention what people often do on snow days like this b/c you already know. :)
Thanks! I assume you mean get drunk and make babies, because that’s totally how I was created. Thanks, Mom, Dad, and cold fronts!
I love how clean snow makes everything look. And the snow cushions on the park benches are awesome.
I won’t show you the pictures I took of two cars trying to maneuver around the cul-de-sac Kamran’s apartment’s in and the naaaaaasty brown tracks they left in the pretty snow. I was looking for a model to sit on the snow couches for me, and strangely Kamran wouldn’t comply, so I’m calling you up next time.
Neat! You guys are so ridiculously cute.
Thaaaaaaaanks. It’s easy to not be a sadsack when you have the day off to play!
Kamran’s beard is HOT
Dude, so last night Brad and I started playing the fun Boston game of “Is that a car buried in snow or a snow drift?” TOO MUCH SNOW.
But right before that, I wrote “I <3 BRAD" in the snow, because I am a mature adult. Later in the night, when I was taking out Toucan, I added little smiley faces and Kilroy was here nose-over wall men and… well, you get the picture. All over the street.
Now, keep in mind this street (and city) has been absolutely BLANKETED in snow since the end of December, and nobody else has written anything in it.
Tonight, walking home from work, I spied "I <3 YOU," "I LOVE TRISH," "I LOVE MARCO," "BDMOTHERFUCKINGM" (whatever THAT means), pictures galore, random words ("PANDA!" plus arrow pointing to the street)…
I'm a trendsetter.
Here’s to the two cutest snow bunnies in the whole, wide world.
