One of the great things about my Twitter platform of choice, TweetDeck, is that it has a column that shows what the popular tweeting topics on Twitter as a whole are. TweetDeck supplies the hashtags, and users are supposed to write explanations of why they’re trending.
And while I know that racism hurts people and that all of the African-American females I know are incredibly well-educated, I really got tickled by the poor grammar in this one:
Sorry, black friends! I’m donating to the NAACP to make up for it as we speak.

This is why I swear you have super powers. Because if I posted that on Bachelor Girl, I PROMISE you someone would have already TP-ed my house and tarred and feathered my Chihuahua.
But that’s just funny.
I see “an” used before words starting with “h” a lot, and I don’t understand it.
Typos at the beginning of a sentence are the worst since they stick out like a sore thumb. (There was just the one mistake, right? Damn, I’m possibly exposing my lack of grammar.)
Doh! Should’ve read it through again. Why doesn’t your blog have an “edit” button so we (read: I) can cover up our mistakes??
